Super Edit lets you reshape the conversation path you are viewing in one editor. You can revise text, change the order, add or remove messages, and apply the result as a new branch in the same Chat.
Open Naidan and choose a Chat to edit, or create an empty one. If first-time setup appears, close it with ×; you can edit and apply a path manually. Set up a model before asking for a new AI reply.
1. Open the full history editor
In the Chat header, open More Actions (the three dots), then choose Super Edit. The editor loads the messages on the current path. In an empty Chat, choose Add First Message to begin.

Super Edit sits in the Chat header menu.
2. Shape the message list
Edit a text field directly. Use the grip to drag a message, or the controls beside it to remove, copy, or add a message after it. Append Message adds one at the end. A role can switch only when its message contains text alone; images can be attached to user messages.

The rows, grip, role, and actions are part of one editor. The example adds a message after the first row.
3. Check the Chat system prompt
A system prompt is a standing instruction for the AI’s replies. At the top of the editor, you can inherit instructions set in global settings or a Chat Group, clear them, replace them, or append your own text. This setting belongs to the Chat, so changing it also affects the original path when you return to it.

The four choices appear above the message list. Override reveals a field for replacement instructions.
4. Apply the new path
Choose Apply Changes to create a new branch from the root and switch to it. The original conversation path remains available. Discard closes the editor without applying your changes. At least one message is required before you can apply.

The edited path becomes a new branch in the same Chat; the earlier path stays available.
Choose the scope of the change
For a small alternative at one message, use the message’s edit, resend, or regenerate control. Super Edit is for working across the current path at once; it does not copy other, unselected branches into the editor.
