Browse, import, and save files with Naidan’s File Explorer
Use File Explorer to look through a folder yourself, preview a file, bring files in from your device, or save a copy back to it.
Open Naidan, expand the sidebar if needed, then choose More Actions → File Explorer.
This sidebar entry opens Naidan’s browser storage (OPFS). To inspect the folders available to a Chat instead, open that Chat’s menu and choose File Explorer. The breadcrumb at the top tells you which location you are viewing.
Open the file location you need
The sidebar route opens File Explorer (OPFS). Its list starts at the browser storage root. The lock is on when this view opens, so you can inspect files before allowing changes from this window.
Find a file and preview it
Open a folder, then open a file to see its preview. Search filters names in the current folder. You can switch between list, icon, and column views, or sort the list by a column. Text, images, audio, and video have previews; other files show information and a download action. A large file may ask you to load it explicitly. The preview does not edit file contents.
Bring files into the current folder
Check the breadcrumb, unlock this window if it is locked, and choose Upload Files. Ordinary selected files go into the open folder. A ZIP is one file that bundles other files: keep it as a ZIP or choose Extract and place to put its contents in the folder. The ZIP preview shows additions, merges, replacements, or blocked items before you confirm. If the ZIP has one top folder, you can keep that folder or place its contents here.
Save a file or folder to your device
Right-click one file (or long-press on touch) and choose Download to save it. For a folder, the same action opens Download directory: choose the ZIP name, optionally exclude items by relative path, then download the archive. The original folder stays in its current location.
Organize a writable folder
Unlock the window to enable changes from File Explorer. You can create an empty file or a folder and rename an item. To duplicate an item, use Copy then Paste in the destination folder; to move it, use Cut then Paste. Delete asks for confirmation. Unlocking does not make a read-only mounted folder writable; its own access setting still applies.
